I Need Help!

I am trying to get this blog thing down and my mentor (aka Motha Goose) told me that slideshows were pretty easy to do, well I am not getting it. I guess it's because I only use 75% of my brain :) or at least that's what I was told. Any-who, I need some help on creating slideshows for my blog so I can get it up and running.
